Great Hepa Filtration unit
I bought this due to my allergies. I run it on turbo when im not at home and med in the room I sleep in. I fully intend on getting another one for the downstairs. It has an odor sensor and remote control. I can tell a difference in the air quality and I have to dust less. The 3 types of filters are prefilter, true hepa filter and plasmawave technology which means it kills bacteria and viruses with an electromagnetic field. I was happy to get such a nice volume filtration unit at a low price. It is light and fairly slim and really pumps the air through.Shhh...I've got a secret!
This air purifier is very nice. it really moves the air on turbo. It does make a little "crackling/hissing" noise coming from the Plasma generator but nothing overwhelming. Now for the, Shhh....secretIf you do a little research, you'll notice the Electrolux and Winix both use "PlasmaWave" Technology (same company...maybe) That being said, The Winix 5000 filter cartridges fit this purifier perfectly because they use the same body. The only difference is that the Electrolux does not have a dust sensor. So, you can find the replacement cartridges for pretty cheap on auction sites. When you put the 2 together, you get a $400 air purifier for under $150!!!!! (minus the dust sensor) Make sure the cartrige is for the Winix 5000. NOT the 5000s or 5000b. those will not fit, they are too small. Hope this helps!Fresh, clean airOne word describes this product: Outstanding. We have it setup in a rec room in our finished basement. We seldom have windows open and during the summer months have to run a dehumidifier. Consequently, we get a lingering "stale air" smell. Your guests will thank you!I bought this in the queen size to help our mattress on the pull-out couch be more comfortable for guests. Well, my parents stayed with us for three months while they were building their new house and they were very, very impressed! They said it was just as comfortable as a "real" bed. With out the topper, the pull-out couch mattress had hard spots, bumps, etc. I want my guests to be comfortable, and this fit the bill very nicely. Plus the price was wonderful! I highly recommend!Not exactly as advertisedI bought this as a mattress topper for a twenty year old guest bed that my daughter complains about. I'll probably never sleep on it so I won't attempt to compare it to my $1500 Tempurpedic. I picked this particular manufacturer because the dimensions for some competitor's products for "full" size were smaller and closer to a "twin" size. Before I even received it I got a post card from All Sleep to contact them if there were any problems at all. Nice touch! After letting the pad decompress for several hours the first thing I noticed was that the advertised 2 inches was actually 1 3/4 inches. For some reason All Sleep uses the same measuring system as lumber. After reading reviews on similar products I was expecting to have to leave this pad in my garage to air out for several days but, in fact, this product had no detectable odor (to me). As for quality, it is not an especially dense memory foam but certainly adequate. Overall, the Soft Sleeper 5.5 appears to be a quality product. Great massagerThis massager is great! We had one for 21 years and it finally wore out; I hope the new one lasts as long. It is so easy to massage sore muscles -no requirement for strength or repetitive motion (thus hurting muscles) by the person giving the massage. Only have to place your hand over the sore muscles while attached to the massager. The only negative is that the wire coils don't fit a woman's hand very well -- I have to readjust the fit every minute or two because the vibration causes it to come loose. It's not a major thing -- I highly recommend the massager as being easy and painless to use, while achieving great results.MassagerMuch quieter than the old one. Still comes with a cord of considerable length. And still gives the best massage. Very happy with Oral-B 5000 purchase!I decided to purchase this product for the simple fact that it had a battery indicator on it and because of the small portable charger. Those were the two top reasons why I purchased this product. I knew I wanted to purchase an Oral-B. I ordered the Oral-B 5000 Sunday 9-20, it was shipped 9-21 and I recieved it 9-25. The order came from TeethNthings. The product was packed ok but I received it banged up. The postal worker wanted to blame it on poor packaging but it was packaged fine. The product itself was fine. I have been using this product for a couple of days now so I must report that I am overall very happy and satisfied with it. I read over the instructions twice, and when I used it for the first time, I was puzzled when I felt it doing small pauses. The instructions are ok. They could have broken it down dummy-style for some of us but oh well. I was a bit confused about how to set the timing part, but I figured it out. It could have been the excitement. If you buy this product, it will do these short pulses every two minutes. After two minutes of brushing, the smiley comes up and winks. So cute. If you reach 4 minutes of brushing, it will do the pulse thing again. There is a DVD that comes with it to explain their brushing technique of using the brush. They break it down in 4 quadrants, 30 second intervals, two get in at least 2 minutes of brushing. The toothbrush itself is a tad bit noisier and heavier than my old ancient basic one, but let me tell you, boy does it go. I feel like my teeth are getting a serious dental treatment, Spa Dente'. I don't know what this toothbrush will leave for the dentist to do, besides exrays. To switch between the different brushing styles, you will push the triangle button while the brush is on. The detached screen thing will tell you. I use it in sensitive mode. If you are brushing too hard, it will flash red. Be careful not to push it while brushing, as it would seem easy to do.I really really love how they have the charger. It is small and not bulky, which is perfect for travel. Pretty smart how they did that. The charger base is your travel base as well. I really really love the blue travel case that it comes with so you can store two brush heads. That is so neat.The best thing about this toothbrush is that it really gets your teeth, gums and mouth clean. The smell of my breath has improved also. It does a wonderful job. I am very very pleased and would recommend this toothbrush to anyone. It is a little expensive but it is well worth it to me. I hope if you purchase this you will enjoy it asWell made, effective and pleasant to useI can't think of anything negative to say about this product. I did a lot of research on Oral-B's products as compared to Sonicare before buying this unit, and I'm happy as heck with the choice I made. It's easy to use, easy to keep clean, very well constructed and is a very effective oral hygiene tool. On my recent dental check-up, my dentist noticed that my teeth were stained from the tea that I drink and asked me what type of toothbrush I use. She recommended that I consider buying this Oral-B toothbrush because it could help remove the tea stains.This is an excellent electric toothbrush and it makes my teeth feel smooth and clean after brushing. The timer and pressure warning feature are nice and the brush is much easier to keep clean than the Sonicare I used to use. The only negative comment I can think of is that the brush head might be a little big for some people; I found brushing around my back molars a little difficult. Overall, though, this German-made toothbrush is probably one of the best electric toothbrushes available and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an electric toothbrush.

This one really works!I normally don't write reviews but felt like I had to with the S80. This is a really great unit. I can't beleive how small and how accuarate the readings are. My friend is a police office and we tested the S80 against one of his units and they were dead on with the readings. I had bought some cheaper units in the past that didn't seem to work too well but the S80 is the real deal. Definitely worth paying a few bucks more to get the real deal.Very Accurate BreathalyzerI purchased the BacTrack S80 in August from amazon and I am extremely pleased with the product. First and probably most important, it seems to give very accurate results. Three years ago I received one of those cheap keychain units as a gift and it read all over the map and never worked well. Here, with this product, if I test myself 3 times in a row I get the same test result 3 times, so you know it's consistent. And if I test a sober person and then a very drunk person, there is no crossover or contamination, which is something I worried about (and really researched) before this purchase. So $199 is not cheap, but you get what you pay for here in terms of accuracy.Besides being happy with the accuracy, I really like the small size. I have an LG Envy phone and the Bactrack S80 is almost the same size. I didn't consider size prior to my purchase, but because it's portable, I'm much more likely to take the BacTrack out when I drink, which is really the whole point of having it.I appreciate the advanced features and being able to adjust the flow settings, but mainly I just turn it on and test. As of today, I'm already on test # 144. Yeah, it's been passed around and used by a lot of people already. 5 stars for its accuracy and reliability alone.i was pleasantly surprisedAfter girlfriend got a DUI, I bought her one of these. She was skeptical, but after testing it many nights in a row (drinking in the name of research of course), we were pleasantly surprised to find it very accurate. It's expensive but its absolutely worth it for the quality. I can't believe that the police are the only ones who have access to these. By the time you're using it with a cop, its usually too late. FYI - the instructions say that you want to wait 15 to 20 minutes after you've had a drink, otherwise it'll pick up the alcohol still in your mouth and read too high. The one I ordered came promptly with nice packaging. I'm here on Amazon because I'm ordering another one for myself.

It has been shown that the decrease in natural sunlight may be the culprit in this seasonal change on our bodies. In fact, it has a name - Seasonal Affected Disorder (SAD). A few pointers - tips about the light (Many were not included in my video)-- It uses all LEDs therefore it is very unlikely that any of the "bulbs" will burn out.- LEDs generate much less heat than other forms of light, so there is a very low risk of fire.- You must (on occasion) look into the light. That I WAS getting 8 hours of sleep BUT it was at a later time (hence going to bed at 11 PM didn't do anything because I really wasn't falling asleep until 3-4 AM in the morning).So why did this happen? Why did my sleep schedule get delayed (this problem is called DSPS or delayed sleep phase syndrome --- it's nothing serious it's just a big pain when trying to function in society --- my primary care physician referred me to a sleep MD who diagnosed me with this as well.)? Well in high school I had bad habits. I would go to bed late playing VIDEO GAMES, watching TV, doing intellectually stimulating activities that would make me stay up late. Also the summer before college started, I had a job where I was working as a waiter at night (4 PM-10 PM) or (6 PM-1 AM), and thus I was sleeping later. I guess all of this carried through college and in grad. school (modern day society makes it difficult to live a natural technological-independent state huh?)Anyways, before I digress any further, this winter break, I let my body go to bed when it wanted too. I also felt happier too and the reason why this happens is that the blue light increases the production of SERATONIN (the happy go-lucky hormone that is low in depression, etc).I'm a grad. student in Biology, and I'll briefly go into the details of the basic physiology of blue light. Basically, your eye's retina (a thin membrane at the back of the eye-ball) has a couple of receptors. The ones you've probably heard of were the rod and cones. Well, there's another one called the "MELANOPSIN" photoreceptor that scientists about 10 years ago discovered. And these are on the edges of the retina (not centric like the rods and cones). These melanopsin photoreceptors absorb light of a specific wavelength and that is BLUE (460-480 nm). Older light boxes used white light (which contained blue light) that mimicked light from the sun, but apparently those are superbright. So why can't you use a regular old BLUE lightBULB then? I don't really know maybe someone can comment on this as I'm not a physicist.Other notes: This thing is expensive, so if you want something a BIT cheaper you can go with the slightly older Philips/Apollo units some of them are as low as $80.P You might be able to make a deduction on this unit with your health insurance or through your taxes, just a heads up, but I'm not 100% as of yet. If you have problems waking up on time, have chronic fatigue, depression, SAD, ciracadian rhythm disorders, then this is worth a shot. I can't guarantee that it will work for you, but after doing some experiments, I don't believe that this was a placebo affect. N=1 though, so take what I say and everything on Amazon.com with a grain of salt.

Neat little gadget. Very easy to read with bright Oled screenGive fast and accurate readings. Uses 2 regular AAA batteries. Comes with it's own case with a neck strap to bring it with you wherever you go. The only thing that I wish the manufacturer would of done is to give the user the option to turn off the beeping sound when it alerts you when you fall into a dangerously unsafe range. Other than that I find it to be very good especially at the price point. It can save your life. It's good to know for sure instead of guessing and this little device helps you do just that.Nice pulse oximeter for the priceI'm a physician, and purchased this pulse oximeter for home use and my home emergency medical kit. It appears to work well. The display is bright and easy to read even in the dark. It shows a waveform which helps you to ensure that you are getting an accurate measurement. I haven't had a chance to try it on patients who are hypoxic (low oxygen level) yet. But readings in the normal range (90-100%) appear to be accurate when compared to my FDA approved pulse oximeter in my office. Quality of the plastic housing is mediocre, but considering the price it is fine. It comes with a small carrying case and neck strap which is nice. Unit is compact, uses 2AAA batteries. I would recommend.Only downside is the instructions... like many cheap electronics manufactured in Asia, the instructions are written in a laughable version of pidgen english. But, you can get the point, and the device basically has one button and very simple operation. So don't let this hold you back.Amazing!!!This not only was everything the description said it would be, it also saved me about $500.00, as most all the stores were saying I wouldn't be able to find one for any less than that. Best epilator everThe Emjoi AP-18 Emagine Dual Opposed 72 Tweezer Head Epilator is quite simply the best epilator I have ever used. It's easy to use, has plenty of power in its two power settings, and the 72 tweezer heads significantly reduce the amount of time epilating takes. Other epilators could take me an hour to do my legs, since I would have to go over the same area repeatedly to get all of the hairs. With 72 tweezer heads and plenty of power, I think the Emjoi AP-18 takes under 10 minutes to do both legs. It's not very noisy to operate, and if you're used to epilating, the hair removal isn't painful. If you aren't used to epilating, any epilator will be painful for the first several uses. Even cleaning out this epilator is easy. The only thing I would change about this epilator would be making it cordless. Then again, they may not be able to keep the power level consistent enough while running on battery power, which may be the reason it's operable only while plugged in to an outlet.The Emjoi AP-18 is pricier than many of the other epilators on the market, but the superior performance makes it well worth the price. I wouldn't trade mine for anything!Twice the price, 1/3 quicker, doesn't get all the hairs
I've been a fan of epilators ever since the 90s. I love that they can get the shortest of hairs, so I don't have to grow my hair out to have it waxed, and that I can remove hair from my entire body without having to go to a salon. I've been considering a dual head epilator since the emjoi optima came out, but could never convince myself to spend the extra money. When I finally decided I was sick of how long it took with my old Philips (which, compared to the Braun it replaced, I've never been terribly happy with) and came to amazon to pick up the optima, I found this improved model and pounced on it. Couldn't wait to try it out the night it was delivered, but didn't notice any difference at all in the speed. I've shelved it since, but decided today to get it back out to try again. Since my legs weren't that bad, it didn't take long, but I still didn't feel it was working miraculously fast, and when I had removed as much hair as the epliator could, my legs still felt somewhat stubbly. That gave me the idea to compare it to my old epilator. I got the Philips back out. Started by running it over my legs. Yep, they felt smoother. Then I decided to time it. Since my legs were done, I decided to do my arms. To keep it fair, I used my dominant hand (left) to hold the Emjoi and my right hand for the Philips. It took the Emjoi five minutes to clear as much hair as possible my right arm. It took seven with the Philips on my left. However, again, my left arm was noticeably smoother than my right and the Philips' single row of tweezers felt more nimble going over bony areas. I ended up finishing off my right arm with the Philips. The only upside I found was that the Emjoi seemed less painful than the Philips. I could see using the Emjoi to start an area that had been neglected for a while. Still, as a daily epilator, the Philips, and the Braun before it, were both far superior, if a tiny bit slower.BEST BEST BEST EVER!This is the third epilator that I have owned. I have used Epilady, Braun and now the Emjoi Emagine and for the first time in three years I love the fact that I epilate my legs over shaving. It is so much faster than the Braun or Epilady and grabs the hairs that the other epilators missed. Love it and would highly recommend over Brawn or Epilady.
